Verizon has a new commercial. Now we really get the message, "Can you hear me now?" Here the man says, "Yes, I can hear you NOW." We all understand what he is referring to; the lack of good coverage form AT&T where people not only could not hear well at times but had dropped calls. I, myself, have had tons of dropped calls when talking to my brother (who has an AT&T iPhone). I'd say 50% of our calls are dropped. Oh joy. How wonderful is that? Can you smell the sarcasm? For years now I (along with millions of others) I have avoided getting an AT&T phone because I actually wanted service. I actually want to be able to make calls. And so now the world changes. We can have our iPhone and make calls too. Finally.

It is official! Verizon will start selling Apple's iPhone in February The news is here and it couldn't have come any sooner. Verizon will start selling Apple's iPhone using Verizon's service starting on February 10th, 2011. The phone are to start selling at $199 for a 16 gigabyte phone and $299 for a 32 gigabyte phone. This ends AT&T's tight grip on the iPhone market and a welcome change for people who own an AT&T iphone who have complained about dropped calls and large bills for years. AT&T has said is spending big money to upgrade their infrastructure but to many customers this may be too little too late as Verizon has come to save the day.
